Sculpture

  1. 361581392_6374255985996601_8788134487909879221_nMia has worked with sculpture for a number of years, both in stone and in clay as the starting points for other materials, such as marble and bronze. When she developed relief painting, the encounter with the wood provided new opportunities for three-dimensional expression. Crooked and damaged tree trunks became a new source of inspiration, and the engraving of the relief paintings opened up new possibilities for sculptural expression. In recent years she has continually expanded her repertoire, its evolution proceeding so rapidly that it can be demanding merely to keep up with it.
